Senior Design Systems Engineer II (React)

What you will do

• Build and refine standardized frontend components focused on quality, performance, accessibility, and design fidelity.
• Conduct code reviews and implementation reviews with Product Design to ensure consistent, pixel-perfect execution.
• Publish, document, and maintain components in the centralized design system library.
• Help product teams integrate shared design-system components into existing applications.
• Consult with and mentor engineering teams on design-system usage and extension best practices.
• Create live prototypes and proofs of concept for new UI patterns, workflows, and interaction paradigms.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience in frontend or UI engineering.
• Experience with enterprise-scale or complex professional software and frontend design systems.
• Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript, and modern frontend tooling.
• Proficiency in Figma, including translating designs into code and collaborating on component architecture and responsive principles.
• Familiarity with Storybook or similar component-development environments.
• Understanding of WCAG accessibility standards, UI performance optimization, and effective collaboration with designers, engineers, and product managers.
