Engineering Intern (3D Printing)

Location: Grand Prairie, Texas, United States

Salary: $18–$19 per hour

What you will do

• Operate and maintain a 3D printer.
• Learn casting techniques and manufacture tooling.
• Create SolidWorks models, assemblies, and drawings.
• Support shot-peening robot design and execution.
• Identify masking and general process improvements.
• Support machine improvements, troubleshooting, repairs, and material procurement.

Requirements

• Be a second-, third-, or fourth-year student in mechanical engineering or manufacturing engineering.
• Have CAD modeling experience, ideally with SolidWorks.
• Have 3D printing experience using Simplify3D.
• Have design-and-build experience through a robotics team, engineering project, or personal project.
• Be able to meet additional security screening requirements if exposed to export-controlled information.
