Mechanical Engineering Intern - Fall 2026

What you will do

• Design, build, and test prototype machine systems under senior engineering guidance.
• Analyze machine performance and develop solutions for industrial-scale metal 3D printing systems.
• Identify manufacturing issues and support cost-effective product quality improvements.
• Use data-driven root cause and corrective action tools to support engineering and business objectives.
• Contribute to technical development across the engineering organization.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Mechanical Engineering program.
• Basic understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple teams in a cross-functional environment.
• Paid internship or co-op starting in August or September 2026 for three months.

Nice to have

• Previous internship, co-op, or hands-on project experience.
• Exposure to manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with CAD software.
