Focus on advanced mechanical, electrical, and software troubleshooting, machine upgrades, critical spare planning, and maximizing equipment uptime for production.

Location: Wilton, Connecticut, United States; onsite support across the campus may be required.

What you will do

  • Select equipment based on reliability and maintainability requirements.
  • Create preventive maintenance plans, standard maintenance procedures, and critical spare-parts lists.
  • Plan strategic equipment upgrades and identify end-of-life equipment.
  • Provide hands-on support for equipment modifications and upgrades.
  • Assist maintenance teams with advanced troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and software issues.
  • Collaborate with process engineers, technicians, operators, product development teams, safety teams, vendors, and service technicians.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
  • 6+ years of experience supporting wet-process equipment, chemical delivery systems, fluid handling systems, or industrial utility infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with PLCs and machine controls.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues.
  • Must be legally authorized to access controlled technology under United States export administration regulations before starting work.
  • Ability to work under deadlines, interpret technical information, and occasionally move around the campus or lift up to 20 pounds.
