Lithography Process Engineer (Quantum Program)

Location: Albany, NY or Santa Clara, CA; onsite role with approximately 10% travel. Relocation is not available.

Salary: $108,000–$148,500 per year

What you will do

• Optimize lithography processes on DUV scanners and troubleshoot process issues.
• Create process, module, and device integration solutions for quantum structures and different technology platforms.
• Develop lithography processes with advanced packaging, process, hardware, and metrology teams.
• Design experiments, collect and analyze data, measure material and device properties, and prepare technical reports.
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve complex process engineering problems.
• Collaborate with external vendors, customers, start-ups, and universities on materials, processes, structures, and quantum device solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 7–10 years of hands-on experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Experience with lithography processes, scanner operations, film tools, and metrology tools.
• Knowledge of mask layout design, basic OPC, CDSEM recipe creation and optimization, and CMOS process modules and flows.
• Ability to solve complex process engineering problems, analyze multiple data sources, and communicate technical information.
• Ability to work in Albany, NY or Santa Clara, CA; relocation is not available.

Nice to have

• Layout design experience with Python, MATLAB, or an equivalent tool.
• Experience with quantum information, device integration, advanced materials, or related technologies.
