What you will do

• Improve the cost of ownership, performance, uptime, and stability of pumps, chillers, scrubbers, and related abatement systems in Fab 9.
• Improve preventive and corrective maintenance procedures and develop root-cause understanding for chronic equipment failures.
• Launch programs to track pump failure modes and drive long-term failure reduction.
• Lead strategic planning and capital expenditure initiatives addressing equipment lifetime, commonality, and obsolescence.
• Manage pump and chiller service contracts and define performance metrics.
• Lead the onsite PCS team, prioritize tool-down issues, and perform hands-on troubleshooting of complex mechanical systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Solid State Physics, or a related discipline with 6–7 years of relevant experience; alternatively, an MS with 5–6 years or a PhD with 3–4 years.
• At least 6–7 years of technical equipment experience on 200mm or 300mm semiconductor platforms.
• Knowledge of Statistical Process Control and Design of Experiments.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to lead hands-on tactical troubleshooting of complex systems.
• English fluency required for written and verbal communication.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse teams, customers, suppliers, and internal and external partners; minimum 10% travel may be required.
