Upgrade Engineer (EUV)

Location: Kaohsiung, Taiwan. International travel to field offices and customer sites worldwide is required, up to 70%, including Taiwan, Korea, the USA, and Israel, with possible uninterrupted assignments of 6–8 weeks.

What you will do

• Execute hardware upgrades and system setups for complex upgrade packages, difficult field swaps, and bring-to-spec packages.
• Troubleshoot upgrade hardware installation issues with generalists and coordinators.
• Support customers as an hirify.global representative at customer sites and field offices worldwide.
• Provide feedback to improve upgrade cycle time and system performance.
• Apply zero-error repeat practices during upgrade preparation and execution, followed by post-upgrade recovery and analysis.
• Maintain and develop upgrade skills and engineering knowledge to resolve most issues without escalation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical technology, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, physics, or computer science.
• Experience in customer support for high-tech products, preferably involving photolithography, electromechanical systems, or ultra-clean vacuum environments.
• General knowledge of lithography machines; experience with hirify.global EUV or NXT systems metrology is preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English is required.
• Strong technical, analytical, hands-on, documentation, communication, and customer-service skills.
• Flexibility to travel internationally on short notice and support CS Upgrades for at least 2–3 years after training.
