(USA) Vision Center Manager NL 1 (Optical)

Location: Onsite at 2609 7th St, Las Vegas, New Mexico, United States

Hourly wage: $27.00–$37.00 per hour, plus potential performance-based bonuses.

What you will do

• Drive Vision Center sales through effective merchandise presentation, competitive pricing, inventory availability, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Lead and develop Vision Center Associates through hiring, training, mentoring, delegation, recognition, and performance accountability.
• Provide customer service and optical support, including product consultations, measurements, prescription verification, minor frame repairs, and equipment maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, safety controls, asset protection standards, confidentiality rules, and quality assurance procedures.
• Resolve Associate concerns through Walmart’s Open Door Policy and coordinate initiatives with key stakeholders and community partners.
• Promote Walmart’s values of belonging, integrity, customer service, continuous improvement, and ethical conduct.

Requirements

• Completion of two or more years of college, or one year of retail experience plus one year of supervisory experience, or two years of general work experience including one year of optical experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable New Mexico laws, regulations, and rules.
• Ability to work onsite at the Las Vegas, New Mexico Vision Center.
