Vision Center Manager NL2 (Optical)

Location: Wasco, California, United States; onsite at the Vision Center.

Hourly wage: $30.00–$40.00 per hour, with potential performance-based bonuses.

What you will do

• Drive Vision Center sales through accurate merchandise presentation, competitive pricing, inventory availability, budgeting, forecasting, and assessment of community needs.
• Supervise, hire, train, mentor, assign duties to, recognize, and develop Vision Center Associates.
• Provide customer service, consult on eyewear selection, take measurements, verify prescriptions, maintain confidential records, perform minor frame repairs, and maintain optical equipment.
• Ensure compliance with company and legal requirements, including safety, asset protection, quality assurance, confidentiality, and operational controls.
• Lead community outreach activities and build relationships with stakeholders to support customer and business needs.
• Resolve Associate concerns through the Open Door Policy and drive accountability, continuous improvement, and execution of strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• Completion of two or more years of college, or one year of retail experience plus one year of supervisory experience, or two years of general work experience including one year of optical experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations, and rules.
• Experience with customer service, eyewear products, prescriptions, optical equipment, or retail operations.
