Manager, Finance Operations - Contract to Cash (AI Infrastructure)

What you will do

• Build and operate the Commitment-to-Cash model from approved commercial commitments through billing readiness, revenue recognition inputs, cash visibility, and execution reporting.
• Establish contract-to-finance handoffs with clear data standards, ownership, turnaround expectations, and escalation routes.
• Run the weekly cadence and expose blockers related to billing, revenue recognition, cash collection, customer finance onboarding, and acceptance milestones.
• Translate contracts, order forms, and amendments into billing milestones, revenue inputs, cash timing assumptions, and tracked financial obligations.
• Provide Treasury, FP&A, and Finance leadership with reporting on liquidity-critical customer cash, financial exposure, execution risks, and unresolved blockers.
• Connect contracted or allocated AI capacity with customer commitments, revenue phasing, billing readiness, go-live timing, and cash generation.

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of experience in Finance Operations, Order-to-Cash, Revenue Finance, Billing Operations, Commercial Operations, Deal Desk Operations, or Finance Transformation in complex B2B environments.
• Experience designing operating models, cross-functional cadences, scalable controls, dashboards, trackers, and escalation tools.
• Strong understanding of complex contracts, billing triggers, acceptance milestones, payment terms, revenue recognition inputs, and cash timing.
• Ability to challenge and collaborate with Sales, Legal, Accounting Operations, Treasury, Deployment, and senior stakeholders.
• Comfort working in a high-growth, ambiguous environment where processes are still being institutionalised.
• Experience in AI infrastructure, cloud, data centres, enterprise SaaS, telecoms, hardware, or capital-intensive B2B contracting is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with high-value advance billing, complex invoice milestones, or liquidity-critical cash collection.
• Experience building or operating SOX / ICFR-ready and audit-ready controls across order-to-cash, revenue operations, billing, or finance transformation.
