Manager (AI Finance Operations)

Location: London, United Kingdom; in-office attendance required 4 days per week.

What you will do

• Act as the EMEA subject-matter expert for finance processes, financial systems, integrations, and data flows across global platforms.
• Identify and apply generative AI, prompt engineering, agent workflows, SQL, and BI to improve finance workflows.
• Design, build, and maintain Power Platform, Appian, and other low-code/no-code solutions and workflow automations.
• Use Python, SQL, and VBA to develop integrations, automations, and data transformations.
• Lead requirements documentation, functional specifications, user stories, UAT, and small-to-medium initiatives from discovery through stabilization.
• Partner with EMEA users and US finance and technology leadership on support, close cycles, process improvement, training, and change adoption.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; finance, accounting, economics, information systems, or a related concentration preferred.
• 5–7 years of experience in finance operations, business systems, techno-functional delivery, or process improvement, including EMEA exposure.
• Hands-on experience with low-code/no-code platforms such as Power Platform or Appian is required.
• Working coding ability in Python, SQL, or VBA for automation, integration, and data work.
• Knowledge of EMEA finance requirements, including VAT, multi-currency, cross-border operations, and local statutory and regulatory reporting.
• Financial systems experience, advanced Excel skills, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to lead initiatives independently across a transatlantic reporting line.

Nice to have

• Background in private equity or alternative investment operations.
• Experience with Sigma Computing, Power BI, Jira, or similar tools.
