Finance Manager (SaaS)

What you will do

• Lead regional month-end close activities, including revenue recognition, project cost validation, and gross margin reporting.
• Own transactional accuracy across revenue, cost of sales, project setup, contract amendments, and change orders.
• Prepare and reconcile deferred and accrued revenue schedules with complete supporting documentation.
• Partner with Sales, Delivery, Operations, and Legal to assess commercial activity and project performance.
• Deliver insights on trends, risks, project profitability, and revenue performance.
• Support audits, compliance, process automation, and the implementation of scalable financial processes using systems such as NetSuite and Salesforce.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, or CIMA certification.
• Significant accounting experience with a strong focus on revenue recognition in a commercial environment.
• Hands-on experience applying IFRS 15 revenue recognition principles; US GAAP experience is advantageous.
• Experience reviewing customer contracts, including multi-element arrangements, deferred revenue, and contract modifications.
• Experience as a Finance Business Partner supporting deal structuring, pricing, and revenue treatment decisions.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience preparing reporting packs with a reporting tool.

Nice to have

• Experience with US GAAP.
• Understanding of SaaS or subscription-based revenue models.
