Regional Manager (Student Housing)

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina; Raleigh, North Carolina; or Atlanta, Georgia. Hybrid role with remote work, 35%–50% travel, and current residence in the Southeast region or willingness to relocate required. Residence near a major airport with direct East Coast flights is required.

Salary: $110,000–$115,000 annually, plus an annual bonus.

SelectLeaders is hiring for a client operating a multi-property student housing portfolio.

What you will do

• Lead operational oversight across multiple student housing communities and align property teams with organizational goals.
• Hire, train, onboard, develop, and manage site teams in partnership with HR and Training.
• Oversee budgets, forecasts, net operating income, cost control, vendors, and financial reporting across properties.
• Lead leasing and marketing initiatives while maintaining brand standards and fair housing compliance.
• Monitor resident satisfaction, address complaints and requests, and improve resident engagement.
• Coordinate maintenance, capital, curb appeal, and performance improvement projects, providing recommendations to senior leadership.

Requirements

• Current residence in the Southeast region or willingness to relocate within the United States.
• Residence near a major airport with direct flights to East Coast destinations.
• Bachelor's degree.
• 5+ years of student housing property management experience.
• Operational knowledge, project management skills, and experience managing remote teams.

Nice to have

• Regional or Area Management experience.
• Experience with new lease-ups and operating properties.
