Senior Property Manager

Location: Washington, DC; 100% in-office during standard business hours. Remote work and telecommuting are not available.

Salary: $120,000–$120,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Lead operations, marketing, financial activities, and client service for commercial, industrial, or retail properties.
• Act as the primary owner representative and prepare accurate monthly, annual, and client reports.
• Manage tenant needs, retention programs, rent collection, accounts receivable reporting, and legal notices.
• Oversee lease administration, expirations, covenants, restrictions, contracts, procurement, and vendor compliance.
• Direct property inspections, maintenance, alterations, reconditioning, emergency plans, drills, and training.
• Recruit, train, mentor, evaluate, and manage assigned property management teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred, with 5–8 years of relevant experience; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
• Real estate license required where mandated by local regulation; CPM or RPA designation or candidacy preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office and Excel skills; AP and CMMS proficiency required. Yardi, MRI, and Kardin knowledge preferred.
• Experience with commercial office, retail, and industrial properties, including leases, contracts, financial instruments, property taxes, and construction.
• Advanced financial knowledge, including forecasting, budgeting, long-term capital planning, variance reporting, and financial recommendations.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
