Staff Frontend Engineer (React)

Location: Remote from Romania

What you will do

• Set frontend architecture and engineering direction across React, React Native and the shared Nx monorepo.
• Own cross-team platform capabilities, shared libraries, design-system foundations, tooling and developer experience.
• Lead decisions on application boundaries, abstractions, state and data flow, performance, testing and migration strategy.
• Diagnose systemic rendering, bundle, runtime and release-quality problems and implement durable fixes.
• Stay hands-on with implementation, prototyping and technical investigations when needed.
• Partner with product, backend engineering and QA, while mentoring senior engineers and improving review quality.

Requirements

• Architectural or platform impact across multiple frontend teams.
• Deep ownership of complex production systems built with React or React Native and TypeScript.
• Strong judgment in application boundaries, shared libraries, state management, performance and migration design.
• Experience improving developer effectiveness, reliability or product quality through durable mechanisms.
• Practical experience diagnosing performance and correctness issues across web or mobile systems.
• Clear communication and the ability to influence technical direction through evidence, clarity and execution.
