What you will do

• Develop and maintain secure, clean, efficient, and resilient banking applications within approved SDLC processes.
• Gather, review, and approve technical requirements, designs, proposals, and pull requests.
• Define peer-review processes and coach engineers on code quality, data structures, algorithms, and development practices.
• Oversee source control, code merging, change management, testing methodology, and code coverage.
• Drive performance testing, resiliency, optimization, and adherence to engineering patterns and practices.
• Partner with technology and business stakeholders on architecture, delivery, risk escalation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree with at least 7 years of systems analysis or application development experience, or a bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• In lieu of a degree, at least 9 years of combined education and relevant work experience, including at least 5 years in systems analysis or application development.
• Expert proficiency in at least one relevant programming language and professional proficiency in at least one additional relevant programming language.
• Strong application-development analytical, organizational, time-management, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaborate with multiple technology and business stakeholders.
