Manufacturing Technician 1 (6:00am - 2:30pm Shift)

Location: On-site in Fremont, CA for the first 6–8 months, then based in Livermore, CA. Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm, with occasional overtime. Travel of approximately 10–15% is required, including trips of up to one week for machine installations throughout the United States.

What you will do

• Assemble critical system components to precise quality standards.
• Test component performance using advanced metrology equipment.
• Inspect materials and parts for defects and non-conformance.
• Maintain detailed testing records and ensure required materials are available in inventory.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, shipping, print shop, and engineering teams to support component delivery and system operation.
• Travel to customer or company locations to support machine installations.

Requirements

• At least three years of formal or informal hands-on experience with mechanical systems and components.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organization, work ethic, attention to quality, and ability to maintain detailed records.
• Ability to identify problems, suggest quality improvements, and communicate issues reliably.
• Forklift experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and wear required personal protective equipment including steel-toed boots and protective eyewear.

Nice to have

• Experience with metrology equipment or specialized machinery.
