Manufacturing Efficiency Technician I - 1st Shift

Location: San Luis Obispo, California, United States; onsite at the hirify.global facility

Salary: $24–$26 per hour, with actual pay based on the candidate's skills.

What you will do

• Maintain the day-to-day effectiveness of an assigned manufacturing value stream by following standard work.
• Perform pre-production walkthroughs, verify assembly kits and floor-stock inventory, and support the routing and completion of work orders.
• Create build books for systems before assembly when applicable.
• Print project drawings, verify redlines, document issues, and collaborate with the Value Stream Manufacturing Engineer.
• Complete assigned 6S activities and maintain a safe, clean, accurate, and efficient work environment.
• Support production as part of a team while working independently when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; an associate degree or extended learning course is desirable.
• Experience with MRP OS and computer-based data entry, including Microsoft operating platforms.
• Ability to perform visual checks and handle materials responsibly.
• Ability to lift or move up to 40 pounds daily, climb ladders, and remain on your feet for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail, dependability, flexibility, and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

• Previous warehousing experience.
