3DP Manufacturing Lab Technician - DMLS (3D Printing)

Location: Raleigh, North Carolina, United States; on-site. Monday–Friday, 10:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m.

Salary: $20–$24 per hour.

What you will do

• Set up DMLS machines for scheduled builds and turn over machines according to established procedures.
• Remove builds, complete breakout work, and prepare parts and machines for subsequent production.
• Handle raw materials, including inventory control, material blending, powder sieving, and vat stirring.
• Maintain machine cleanliness, perform light maintenance, and work with Maintenance to report and prevent machine issues.
• Troubleshoot build crashes, remove failed builds, and prepare machines for rebuilds.
• Follow checklists, safety and quality procedures, PPE requirements, and maintain a clean, safe work area.

Requirements

• Computer aptitude with complex database applications, Windows, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, attention-to-detail, and punctuality skills.
• Ability to follow detailed operating and maintenance instructions and learn new techniques.
• Must be eligible to work under ITAR requirements as a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or qualifying refugee or asylee.
• Temporary visa holders, including E, F-1, H-1, H-2, L, B, J, TN, and OPT holders, are not eligible.
• Ability to stand for up to 75% of the workday, lift or move more than 50 pounds, and wear required PPE.

Nice to have

• Prior manufacturing experience.
• Experience operating or maintaining manufacturing machines.
