Manufacturing Technician 1

Location: On-site in Fremont, CA for the first 6–8 months, then based in Livermore, CA. Monday–Friday, 2:00pm–10:30pm, with occasional overtime. Travel of approximately 10–15% is required, including trips of up to one week within the United States.

Salary: $27–$29 per hour.

What you will do

• Assemble precision system components for R&D and manufacturing teams.
• Test component performance using advanced metrology equipment.
• Inspect materials and parts for defects and non-conformance.
• Maintain detailed testing records and ensure required components and materials are available in inventory.
• Escalate problems, communicate improvement suggestions, and support quality improvement techniques.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, shipping, print shop, and engineering teams, including supporting system bring-up and machine installations.

Requirements

• At least three years of formal or informal hands-on experience with mechanical systems and components.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain detailed records.
• Forklift experience.
• Ability to work on-site in Fremont and Livermore, California, on the specified afternoon/evening shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and wear required personal protective equipment, including steel-toed boots and protective eyewear.
