Assembly Technician I (Medical Manufacturing)

Salary: $20.50–$25.00 per month, depending on experience

What you will do

• Assemble and package products, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
• Perform rework, quality testing, inspections, and production documentation.
• Operate mechanical, electrical, and optical tools and equipment.
• Use measurement devices and data-collection programs to evaluate production data and make on-line adjustments.
• Communicate discrepancies, identify and segregate non-conforming products, and maintain product traceability.
• Work with manufacturing and process engineers on process validation, product quality, cycle-time reduction, and cost improvement.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of experience in a related field.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Microscope experience, manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, visual acuity, and attention to detail.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, repetitive work, and measurement-based production tasks.
• Ability to follow GMPs and standard operating procedures while maintaining records and a clean-room environment.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in a controlled environment area.
• Ability to train new operators.
• Basic understanding of electricity and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
