Inventory Control Specialist I - US

Location: Elk Grove Village, Illinois, United States; onsite

Salary: USD 34,505.00–50,645.10 per year, depending on geographic market, knowledge, skills, and experience. Additional compensation may include annual bonuses or incentives, equity awards, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

What you will do

• Manage and process internal inventory tickets with limited supervision.
• Receive equipment into the secured inventory stockroom and execute physical inventory movements.
• Stock materials according to industry handling standards.
• Process data-bearing hard drives through wiping and destruction procedures.
• Complete shipping and receiving documentation and participate in inventory meetings.
• Assist with training teammates and supporting inventory control activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of experience in inventory operations.
• Basic knowledge of integrated inventory control systems and cycle counting.
• Basic shipping and receiving experience.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, email client software, rules, and folder organization.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and lift 50 pounds overhead.

• Familiarity with electronic and computer components.
