Manufacturing Technician 2 (2:00pm - 10:30pm Shift) (3D Printing)

Location: On-site in Fremont, CA for the first 6–8 months, then based in Livermore, CA. Monday–Friday, 2:00pm–10:30pm, with occasional overtime. Travel of approximately 10–15% is required, including trips of up to one week to support machine installations throughout the United States.

Salary: $27–$29 per hour.

What you will do

• Assemble critical system components with consistent precision and quality.
• Test component performance using advanced metrology equipment.
• Inspect materials and parts for defects and non-conformance.
• Maintain organized testing records and ensure required subcomponents and materials are available in inventory.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, shipping, print shop, and engineering teams to prepare and deploy components.
• Support system operation skills development, machine bring-up, and installation activities.

Requirements

• At least three years of formal or informal hands-on experience with mechanical systems and components.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
• Mechanical aptitude, strong organization, and the ability to maintain detailed records.
• Motivation to identify production problems and implement quality improvements.
• Forklift experience.
• Ability to work on-site in Fremont and Livermore, lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and wear required personal protective equipment.
