Onboarding Associate (Restaurant Platform)

Location: Chicago, United States

Salary: $41,500–$52,000 or $52,000–$65,000 per year, depending on geographic salary structure and candidate qualifications.

What you will do

• Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for restaurant partners.
• Configure accounts for integrations and menu ingestion, using internal tools to check quality.
• Contact restaurant owners daily to launch new accounts and troubleshoot integration issues.
• Coordinate with integration partners, sales, operations engineering, partnerships, and solutions consultants.
• Set up accounts for long-term success by arranging photoshoots, confirming operating hours, and collecting ACH, W9, and other required information.
• Train restaurant owners on the Grubhub platform and integration partner products while improving onboarding workflows and sharing best practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• 1–2 years of customer service experience; restaurant or restaurant-owner experience is beneficial.
• Strong computer skills, including Windows applications, keyboard navigation, and learning new software.
• Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills and comfort making outbound phone calls.
• Strong problem-solving, multitasking, prioritization, reliability, and punctuality skills.
• Empathy, operational judgment, flexibility, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with restaurant owners or restaurant operations.
• Experience with Salesforce, Zendesk, or similar CRM systems.
