Maintenance Tech II

What you will do

• Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on conveyors, sortation systems, automated storage and retrieval systems, stretch wrappers, dock doors, and related warehouse equipment.
• Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control-system issues, including PLCs, VFDs, motors, proximity sensors, and photoelectric sensors.
• Use CMMS software to create, schedule, complete, and document work orders and manage spare-parts inventory.
• Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems.
• Conduct safety inspections, follow lockout/tagout and OSHA requirements, and help maintain facility areas.
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams while training and guiding junior maintenance staff.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a distribution or fulfillment center.
• At least 3 years of experience with basic trades and troubleshooting electrical systems up to 480V.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems, including PLCs, VFDs, and HMIs.
• Experience with material handling equipment, diagnostic tools, CMMS software, and PIT equipment.
• Ability to work independently, solve problems, multitask, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain flexible scheduling and outstanding attendance.
• Ability to work on-site in North Las Vegas and meet the physical requirements, including standing or walking for 8–12 hours, climbing, working in awkward spaces, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Nice to have

• 3+ years of experience with automated conveyor systems and material handling equipment repair.
• Maintenance apprenticeship, technical certification, or an associate degree or higher in a related field.
