Senior Manager, Real Estate & Workplace

Location: Remote, with locations listed in New York City, NY and Washington, DC; approximately 15–20% travel required for office launches, site visits, and management meetings across Chicago, Washington, D.C., New York, London, and future offices.

Salary: $180,000–$220,000 annually, plus equity in the form of stock options.

What you will do

• Lead the global real estate portfolio strategy and roadmap for six offices across four time zones.
• Evaluate new market opportunities and develop business cases covering financial models, risks, and implementation timelines.
• Forecast real estate costs, optimize the portfolio, and maintain budget discipline.
• Lead office launches from market evaluation and site selection through lease negotiation, buildout, vendor management, and stabilization.
• Hire, develop, and mentor three office managers while setting standards for workplace operations, employee experience, and vendor management.
• Partner with Finance, People Operations, IT, Security, and executive leadership on strategic and complex operational decisions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of workplace management, real estate operations, or facilities leadership experience.
• Experience managing real estate portfolios across multiple locations or markets.
• Experience opening, scaling, or relocating offices in fast-growing technology or professional services companies.
• Expertise in lease negotiation, vendor management, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
• Experience leading multi-market office expansion or portfolio management and managing teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, facilities management, or a related field.
