What you will do

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test cases and test suites for software features, system functionality, and customer use cases.
• Develop automation frameworks to improve test coverage, scalability, efficiency, and maintainability.
• Create and execute functional, integration, system, regression, and solution-level test plans for product capabilities and software releases.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, perform root-cause analysis, and collaborate with development teams on resolutions.
• Participate in design reviews, requirements reviews, and test planning throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Integrate automated tests into Jenkins pipelines, maintain test environments and topologies, and validate networking solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance, test automation, software development, or related engineering roles.
• Experience developing automated test solutions with Python or another object-oriented programming language.
• Experience creating, executing, and maintaining automated test cases and regression suites.
• Experience working in Linux-based development and test environments.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycles, QA methodologies, defect management, Git, Bitbucket, and JIRA.

Nice to have

• Experience with PON technologies, including GPON and XGS-PON, and OLT/ONU/ONT architectures.
• Knowledge of ITU-T specifications, OMCI, Ethernet, TCP/IP, IPv4, IPv6, routing, and switching.
• Experience with Ixia, Spirent, Xena, or equivalent traffic-generation and network-testing platforms.
• Experience analyzing packet captures, protocol traces, and system logs to troubleshoot networking and service issues.
• Experience with TestRail and Confluence.
