Consulting Enterprise Architect

Location: United States; virtual/remote. Overnight travel of approximately 20–30% may be required for customer engagements, workshops, assessments, and strategic planning.

What you will do

• Develop enterprise technology strategies, transformation roadmaps, architecture frameworks, and governance models aligned with client business objectives.
• Lead architecture and design for datacenter modernization, hybrid cloud adoption, infrastructure transformation, automation, and enterprise IT platform optimization.
• Act as the primary technical advisor during delivery, providing architectural guidance, risk management, and executive-level recommendations.
• Create current-state and future-state architecture models, reference architectures, technology standards, and implementation roadmaps.
• Lead architecture reviews, design workshops, technical assessments, and strategic planning sessions with clients and delivery teams.
• Provide technical oversight, mentor teams, evaluate emerging technologies, and support post-implementation continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Technology, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in enterprise infrastructure, architecture, systems engineering, consulting, or related technology leadership roles.
• Deep expertise in datacenter technologies, enterprise infrastructure, hybrid cloud platforms, systems integration, and infrastructure modernization.
• Strong knowledge of automation, orchestration, infrastructure-as-code, and operational transformation practices.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, business continuity, disaster recovery, enterprise resilience, and relevant industry standards.
• Strong analytical, communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills in a consulting environment.

Nice to have

• TOGAF, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, VMware, AWS Solutions Architect, Cisco, ITIL, or other relevant architecture and infrastructure certifications.
