Senior Legal Counsel

Location: London, UK; hybrid working with 3 days per week in the Osterley office. Candidates must have the appropriate right to work in the UK. Visa sponsorship is not offered.

What you will do

• Act as a legal adviser and strategic business partner to senior stakeholders across Product, Technology, Responsible Supply Chain, Product Compliance, and hirify.global Protect.
• Lead the negotiation, drafting, and execution of complex commercial, technology, supply chain, and strategic supplier agreements.
• Advise on legal, regulatory, and commercial risks across the full product lifecycle, from design and development through manufacture, launch, delivery, installation, and support.
• Support transformation projects, strategic partnerships, product initiatives, and supply chain programmes.
• Advise on product compliance, product safety, environmental and sustainability requirements, cybersecurity, intellectual property, software licensing, and related legal obligations.
• Manage multiple complex matters, external counsel, and hirify.global Legal's managed legal services provider while collaborating with legal teams across hirify.global Group and Comcast.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer in a UK jurisdiction or an equivalent common law jurisdiction.
• Proven commercial experience in a leading private practice and/or in-house legal team.
• Significant experience negotiating and advising on complex commercial contracts.
• Experience partnering with senior business stakeholders and independently leading significant negotiations and projects through completion.
• Strong legal advisory skills, commercial judgement, and the ability to balance legal and regulatory risk with business objectives.
• Appropriate right to work in the UK required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience advising on products in regulated environments, particularly insurance products.
• Experience working across multiple jurisdictions.
• In-house experience within a large, matrixed organisation.
• Experience managing external legal providers.
