TL;DR
Senior Counsel, International Law (SaaS): Providing legal support across Europe, especially Northern Europe, for commercial SaaS contracts, employment matters, procurement, disputes, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance with an accent on complex technology agreements, privacy, data security, and EU legislation. Focus on negotiating customer and vendor contracts, advising multiple jurisdictions, coordinating litigation, and managing outside counsel.
Location: London, UK (Onsite); occasional business travel required.

What you will do
- Advise management, sales, business clients, and regional business units on a broad range of legal matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex SaaS subscription, services, licensing, customer, and vendor agreements.
- Advise on employment matters, procurement, disputes, litigation, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance.
- Support implementation of evolving EU legislation and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
- Develop legal best practices, compliant templates, and global law department projects.
- Coordinate disputes and manage relationships with outside legal counsel.
Requirements
- Fully qualified lawyer in the UK.
- At least 8 years of legal experience, including in-house counsel experience.
- Experience advising across multiple jurisdictions on regulatory and compliance matters.
- Strong knowledge of European commercial law, including SaaS subscriptions, cloud services, professional services, intellectual property, privacy, and data security.
- Excellent written and oral English communication skills, including concise legal drafting.
- Proactive, flexible, business-oriented approach and ability to handle a broad variety of matters.
