System Engineer (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Develop and implement design improvements for released products and next-generation systems.
• Participate in systems design improvement, specification validation, implementation, and testing.
• Collect and analyze system data from customer sites to identify systematic and intermittent issues.
• Respond to complex field escalations through written action plans, remote support, and hands-on customer-site assistance worldwide.
• Design and execute multidisciplinary experiments, prepare test plans and reports, and perform root cause analysis.
• Coordinate with service, manufacturing, engineering, marketing, and external vendors to optimize system performance and maintain engineering prototypes.

Requirements

• BSc, MSc, or PhD in engineering, physics, material science, or a related field.
• Experience in systems engineering or building complex systems, with strong system-level thinking.
• Knowledge of data analysis tools such as JMP, MATLAB, and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly with internal cross-functional teams, management, and external customers.
• Self-driven approach combined with effective teamwork.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, optical-mechanical systems, wafer handling systems, or servo control systems.
• Experience with yield and process control instrument systems in the semiconductor industry.
