Motion Control Engineer (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Rehovot, Israel. Onsite role with approximately 10% travel. Relocation is not eligible.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end development process for multi-axis motion systems, including architecture, specifications, feasibility testing, technology and vendor selection, modeling, simulation, motion profiles, control design, lab testing, and system integration.
• Manage development plans, timelines, budgets, configuration control, and transition to serial production.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, software, operations, manufacturing, and support groups.
• Lead periodic and ad hoc technical review meetings.
• Work with academic institutions using advanced motion-control technology.

Requirements

• Control Engineer with a B.Sc. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and control expertise.
• At least 5 years of experience in servosystem design, testing, and integration.
• Strong theoretical control knowledge, including linear and nonlinear systems, friction, and robust systems.
• Experience with motion-control simulation.
• Familiarity with motion-control technologies, including motors, bearings, sensors, and controllers.
• Excellent English skills in speaking, writing, and reading.

Nice to have

• Experience with precision systems.
• M.Sc. in Engineering with motion-control experience.
