Motion Control Engineer

hirify.global develops and manufactures materials engineering equipment, including machine learning and computer vision-based metrology and inspection products for semiconductor and display manufacturing.

What you will do

• Take end-to-end responsibility for multi-axis motion system development, from architecture and specifications through testing, integration, and serial production transition.
• Define concepts, conduct feasibility tests, select technologies and vendors, and model and simulate motion systems.
• Design motion profiles and control systems and perform laboratory testing and system integration.
• Manage the development plan, timeline, and budget.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, software, operations, manufacturing, and support groups.
• Lead periodic and ad-hoc technical review meetings.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in electrical or mechanical engineering with control expertise.
• At least 5 years of experience in servosystem design, testing, and integration.
• Strong theoretical knowledge of linear and nonlinear systems, friction, and robust control systems.
• Experience with motion control simulation.
• Familiarity with motion technologies, including motors, bearings, sensors, and controllers.
• Excellent English skills in speaking, writing, and reading.

Nice to have

• Experience with precision systems.
• M.Sc. in engineering with motion control experience.
