Experienced Mechanical Engineer (Semiconductor Equipment)

Location: Rehovot, Israel. Relocation is not available. Travel is required for approximately 10% of the time.

What you will do

• Design structural elements, optomechanical systems, high-precision mechanisms, pneumatic and vacuum systems, filtration, cooling, and manual or motorized mechanisms for clean-room equipment.
• Design and execute experiments and perform CAE simulations for structural, modal, thermal, and flow analysis.
• Create drawings and define fabrication processes, materials, finishing standards, and detailed GD&T requirements.
• Perform complex tolerance stack-up analysis and support design validation and troubleshooting.
• Lead the mechanical aspects of development, present design reviews, and collaborate with optics, physics, controls, electronics, software, project management, manufacturing, field support, and suppliers.

Requirements

• BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of mechanical design experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with broad mechanical engineering analysis knowledge.
• High proficiency in CAD and experience with CAE software for structural, modal, thermal, and flow analysis.
• Experience with GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis.
• Fluent English, strong presentation and interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to work in large multidisciplinary teams.
