Facilities Experienced Electrical Engineer (Electrical Systems)

Location: Hybrid work model with time split between the hirify.global site in Kiryat-Gat, Israel, and off-site work.

hirify.global operates the industrial plant where the role manages facility electrical infrastructure and supports site technology projects.

What you will do

• Manage plant electrical systems, including distribution from the 161KV main substation through high- and medium-voltage systems at 22KV and 6.6KV to low-voltage substations.
• Maintain and improve the reliability and efficiency of LVSSs, UPSs, emergency generators, motor control centers, variable speed drives, and related systems.
• Participate in the design of site technology projects and lead electrical projects.
• Conduct startup and commissioning of new electrical systems.
• Drive continuous improvement of plant electrical infrastructure.

Requirements

• BSc. in Electrical Engineering.
• 5–12 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer in an industrial environment.
• Israeli Electrical Engineer license (Hasmalai Mohandes).
• Knowledge of industrial electrical system design principles, protection coordination, and selectivity.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Hebrew and English.
• Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office and engineering design applications.
• Deep technical engineering knowledge, analytical skills, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong leadership and influencing capabilities, with a customer-oriented approach.

Nice to have

• M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience working in industrial plants or manufacturing facilities.
• Israeli Electrical Inspector License, Bodek level 3.
