Senior Accountant

What you will do

• Lead the monthly financial close process for the Mexico City Wrangler® sales business.
• Prepare and review journal entries for inventory, reserves, accounts payable, accruals, prepaids and refund liabilities.
• Prepare and review monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Deliver timely and accurate monthly financial reporting to the corporate office.
• Execute local treasury, cash management, accounts payable and customer accounting activities.
• Partner with local and US-based finance and commercial leadership, present balance sheet review schedules, and coach less-experienced staff.

Requirements

• College degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
• Moderate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including structuring and analyzing large datasets and writing formulas.
• Detail-oriented approach and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to work in Mexico City and support the Mexico sales business.
• Ability to execute internal controls and comply with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.

Nice to have

• CPA or similar professional designation.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
