Accountant (Payments)

What you will do

• Manage accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities for multiple business entities.
• Own balance sheet and subledger reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and resolve accounting issues.
• Maintain global intercompany accounting, including accurate transaction recording and effective eliminations.
• Deliver financial analysis and expense insights to support business decisions and performance improvements.
• Partner with teams to improve accounting processes, strengthen controls, and increase operational efficiency.
• Support audits by maintaining clear documentation, reliable audit trails, and high-quality financial records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Up to two years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related environment.
• Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organization, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis.

Nice to have

• Experience in payments, credit card processing, or financial services.
• MBA and/or CPA designation.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX or other enterprise accounting systems.
