Senior Accountant - Intercompany (Global Intercompany Accounting): Managing end-to-end intercompany accounting processes, reconciliations, eliminations, and close activities for US and international entities with an accent on accuracy, compliance, and consolidated financial reporting. Focus on resolving intercompany discrepancies, coordinating settlements and recharges across global teams, and improving accounting processes using ERP and advanced spreadsheet analysis.
Location: Remote, based in Mexico

What you will do
- Own the end-to-end intercompany accounting process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and eliminations.
- Coordinate with global accounting teams to align intercompany balances each month.
- Drive monthly and quarterly close activities for intercompany transactions across US and international entities.
- Monitor and resolve discrepancies, and support intercompany settlements and recharges with GL, Tax, FP&A, and other teams.
- Prepare intercompany deliverables for external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits.
- Perform ad hoc analyses, process improvements, and special projects related to intercompany operations.
Requirements
- 4+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably focused on intercompany accounting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Strong written and verbal English proficiency for regular collaboration with US-based stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite or Oracle.
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including analysis and reconciliation of large data volumes.
- Collaborative and adaptable approach in a global, fast-paced environment.
