What you will do

• Support the monthly close process and ensure timely completion of all assigned accounting activities.
• Prepare and analyze monthly journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Analyze large datasets to prepare accruals and explain variances between actual and forecasted balances.
• Support inter-company transactions and reconciliations.
• Coordinate with cross-functional departments to ensure adherence to GAAP standards and internal policies.
• Assist with internal and external audits and prepare financial reporting schedules.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• 2-5 years of professional accounting experience.
• Fluent in English required.
• Working knowledge of general accounting functions and US GAAP principles.
• Proficiency in Excel including pivot tables and vlookup functions.
• Must be flexible to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays as necessary.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Public accounting experience.
• Experience in a global organization or the software industry.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP and Cognos.
• Chartered accountant (IMCP or US CPA) certification.
