Senior Software Engineer – DevOps/Observability Platform

Location: Madrid, Spain; hybrid work model with regular office and remote work.

Salary: €55,500–€93,600 gross per year base salary; total on-target earnings range of €62,000–€104,000 including annual performance bonus.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and own an advanced observability platform for the Engineering organization.
• Integrate systems through APIs using Datadog, AWS services, GitHub Actions, OpenTelemetry, and related technologies.
• Use AI and LLM capabilities to automate root-cause analysis and identify improvement opportunities.
• Administer and optimize the platform for performance, reliability, cost, and governance.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and iterate on production solutions to maintain efficiency, accuracy, and reliability.
• Lead cross-team communication and coordinate observability priorities with stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working on SaaS projects.
• Experience with observability systems and concepts, CI/CD, DevOps, and infrastructure as code.
• Experience with Kubernetes and AWS fundamentals.
• Knowledge of security requirements and best practices in SaaS environments.
• Understanding of SRE challenges and ability to use AI tools in day-to-day work.
• Professional-level English, written and spoken, is required.
