Staff Pharmacist (Retail Pharmacy)

Location: Onsite at 3458 Dickerson Pike, Nashville, Tennessee, United States

Annual salary: $98,000–$172,000 for a 40-hour/week schedule, prorated for other schedules, plus annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

What you will do

• Process and accurately dispense prescription orders while maintaining confidential information and controlled-medication documentation.
• Provide comprehensive patient care, including prescription counseling, immunizations, and other Walmart health programs.
• Promote patient safety, quality care, error transparency, risk reduction, and root-cause corrective action plans.
• Implement and monitor healthcare compliance initiatives, billing procedures, HIPAA adherence, and standard operating procedures.
• Build stakeholder relationships, identify business needs, improve processes, and execute business solutions.
• Guide, coach, mentor, and hold associates accountable for customer service, pharmacy quality, safety, ethics, and compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, PharmD, or equivalent FPGE through NABP.
• Pharmacy license required by the job entry date.
• Completion of an ACPE-accredited immunization training program required.
• Experience or capability in prescription dispensing, patient counseling, immunization administration, documentation, and healthcare compliance.
• Ability to analyze reports, implement action plans, and guide pharmacy associates.
