Staff Pharmacist II - Midland (Retail Pharmacy)

What you will do

• Operate a retail pharmacy supporting fewer than 2,000–3,500 prescriptions per week.
• Coordinate with the Pharmacy Manager, pharmacists, technicians, and pharmacy care representatives to deliver accurate patient care and customer service.
• Manage prescription workflow, production efficiency, automated processing equipment, third-party adjudication, and prescription verification.
• Maintain inventory, controlled-substance records, product quality, returns, and prescription fulfillment accuracy.
• Provide patient counseling, conduct drug utilization reviews, contact prescribers, and support immunizations, medication therapy management, and health screenings.
• Train pharmacy partners, support competency development, and maintain compliance with Texas and federal pharmacy regulations.

Requirements

• Pharmacy Bachelor of Science or Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
• Current Texas State Board of Pharmacy registration and required recertifications.
• Texas State Board of Pharmacy-certified immunizer.
• Expert knowledge of pharmacy production systems and applications, including RxEVO, RxIMS, PartnerNet, ScriptPro, and Kirby Lester.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, organization, leadership, and prioritization skills.
• Open availability for rotating shifts, including weekends; ability to travel to assigned stores as required.
