Staff Pharmacist Central Admixture Pharmacy

Location: Onsite in Englewood, New Jersey, United States. Schedule: 9:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m., Monday–Friday, plus alternating weekends; holidays, overtime, and on-call hours may be required.

Salary: $127,253.37–$142,497.06 per year.

What you will do

• Prepare compounded sterile products using aseptic technique and standard operating procedures.
• Review orders and prescriptions for admixing and dispensing, resolving discrepancies with customer pharmacy personnel.
• Ensure compliance with State Board of Pharmacy requirements and other applicable regulations.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement and perform assigned quality control activities.
• Support pharmacy operations through equipment troubleshooting, supply ordering, and inventory maintenance.
• Supervise IV technicians, interns, and support personnel when assigned, reviewing work for accuracy and procedural compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or PharmD required.
• 4+ years of related experience required.
• Applicable professional certification and a valid New Jersey pharmacist license issued by the state pharmacy board required.
• Ability to work a non-standard schedule, including alternating weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call hours.
• Working knowledge of professional pharmacy practices, with the ability to resolve complex problems using independent judgment.
