IT Manager (Manufacturing IT)

Location: Bloomington, Minnesota, United States; onsite Monday through Thursday, with flexible work location on Fridays. Overnight travel to North American facilities may be required, with approximately 5–10% travel.

Salary: $105,228.33–$146,720.00 annual base salary.

What you will do

• Own IT service delivery performance and act as the primary IT contact for the site.
• Lead, coach, and support the local IT team while handling escalations and major downtime incidents.
• Align IT solutions and strategy with front office, plant, warehouse, supply chain, and operations priorities.
• Coordinate local execution of application implementations, technology deployments, infrastructure upgrades, and warehouse system enhancements.
• Support ERP, MES, warehouse management, inventory, material movement, and plant-to-warehouse integration systems.
• Lead continuous improvement activities using Lean principles to improve service delivery, productivity, inventory accuracy, and operational continuity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing IT environment or equivalent manufacturing operations or engineering experience.
• Experience with manufacturing and shop-floor applications, including MES or production execution, inventory and warehousing, warehouse management, quality, and maintenance systems.
• Experience supporting front office users as well as warehouse, distribution, logistics, or material flow operations in an industrial environment.
• Experience leading or participating in manufacturing or industrial projects and working with onshore/offshore support models.
• Ability to work safely in an industrial machinery environment and work onsite at the Bloomington facility.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Oracle ERP, Dematic Warehouse, Apriso MES, or warehouse management and warehouse execution systems.
• Experience applying Lean principles and working with factory or warehouse automation and machine integration.
• Master’s degree in a related discipline.
