Senior Consultant, Business Controls - Wealth Management

Location: Toronto, ON; hybrid arrangement with 1–3 days per week on-site at Toronto-81 Bay

What you will do

• Lead operational risk management and control improvement solutions across products and distribution channels within Technology Infrastructure & Innovation.
• Manage relationships with business partners, project managers, and second- and third-line risk stakeholders.
• Identify risk exposures and control gaps, analyze operational losses and root causes, and manage deficiency remediation.
• Lead Change Initiative Risk Assessments, internal audits, compliance exams, regulatory reviews, and annual audit plan activities.
• Design and manage Control Framework activities, including RCSAs, scenarios, KRIs, and control testing programs.
• Develop and present executive reporting on the governance and controls environment.

Requirements

• Experience with Retail Banking, Commercial Banking, Capital Markets, and Wealth Management products and channels.
• Extensive knowledge of risk management, audit, regulatory compliance principles, policies, and procedures.
• Understanding of account opening, product delivery, and back-office settlement or fulfillment processes.
• Strong relationship management, collaboration, communication, synthesis, and critical-thinking skills.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and hold a valid work or study permit where applicable.
