Platform Upgrade Operations Engineer (Salesforce)

hirify.global operates a platform whose upgrade lifecycle is managed across sandbox, UAT, and Production environments for enterprise customers.

What you will do

• Plan and execute multi-week, phased managed-package upgrades across sandbox, UAT, and Production.
• Manage rollout sequencing, dependencies, production cutovers, release calendars, and go/no-go checkpoints.
• Perform pre- and post-upgrade configuration, permission, metadata, data, and backup comparisons.
• Coordinate UAT hand-offs, smoke testing, regression detection, and post-upgrade validation.
• Communicate upgrade schedules, risks, and status updates to enterprise customers and implementation partners.
• Turn recurring upgrade issues and manual steps into reusable runbooks, automated checks, tests, and prevention mechanisms.

Requirements

• Strong Salesforce Administration and Configuration knowledge.
• Ability to read and understand Salesforce code and troubleshoot Salesforce, hirify.global, configuration, automation, and testing issues.
• Experience with managed-package upgrades, release trains, versioning, dependencies, and phased enterprise rollouts.
• Knowledge of Copado, Copado Robotic Testing, or comparable release-management and testing tools.
• Ability to create reusable scripts and automation and improve automated pre- and post-upgrade validation.
• Strong coordination and customer-facing communication skills for UAT hand-offs and production-impacting changes.

• Salesforce certifications.
• Experience implementing practical AI-assisted workflows or agents.
