What you will do

• Underwrite commercial credit requests and recommend loan structures for new transactions, renewals, extensions, and amendments.
• Manage an assigned commercial credit portfolio, including annual servicing reviews, exception clearing, covenant monitoring, and financial reporting.
• Analyze borrower financial statements, tax returns, cash flow, collateral, credit bureau reports, appraisals, and environmental reports.
• Grade portfolio risk, recommend risk-grade adjustments, identify mitigating factors, and support problem-loan reports and workouts.
• Provide portfolio reporting, analytics, and ad hoc analysis to Credit Leadership.
• Partner with Credit Leadership, Business Operations, Business Development, Operations, and other internal stakeholders while maintaining borrower and vendor relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Five or more years of commercial credit analysis experience, preferably involving borrowing transaction analysis, negotiation, or structuring.
• Extensive experience analyzing complex financial statements and tax returns.
• Knowledge of credit risk principles, financial analysis, commercial lending, and loan or lease documentation.
• Strong communication, presentation, organization, prioritization, judgment, and relationship-building skills.
