Commercial Loan Portfolio Manager

Location: Fully onsite in Lake Oswego, Oregon, United States

Salary: $103,000–$185,000 per year, with possible performance-based incentive compensation

What you will do

• Underwrite, monitor, and manage a $50–$200 million commercial loan portfolio.
• Analyze financial data, cash flow, collateral, and credit quality to evaluate loan requests and make formal recommendations.
• Partner with Commercial Relationship Managers, Credit Administration, support staff, and internal business partners as a client liaison.
• Ensure portfolio administration, risk ratings, credit decisions, and client relationships comply with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
• Meet with customers, assess their needs, cross-sell bank products, and expand existing commercial relationships.
• Monitor repayment activity and borrower financial condition, taking action on past-due accounts and repayment risks.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of relevant commercial lending experience or prior experience as a Commercial Credit Underwriter or Commercial Relationship Manager.
• Strong knowledge of commercial underwriting, credit monitoring, portfolio management, lending policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Ability to risk-rate loans accurately and evaluate cash-flow and collateral-based credits.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, relationship management, business development, sales, communication, and presentation skills.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and related software.
• Ability to work fully onsite at the posted Lake Oswego location; frequent travel is required.
