Team Lead, Engineering (Automotive)

Location: Remote in Canada or the United States

Salary: CAD 110,000–130,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead day-to-day operations and delivery outcomes for a multidisciplinary software engineering team.
• Coordinate priorities and resource allocation with business stakeholders.
• Define, implement, and improve software development lifecycle practices, coding standards, and test coverage targets.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, delivery risks, and blockers affecting quality and reliability.
• Design and develop software applications, including unit, component, and integration testing.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training plans, and team capability development.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Proven technical leadership experience with onshore and offshore multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with multiple software development languages.
• Experience with service-oriented architecture and design principles.
• Experience designing relational and non-relational databases.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, accountability, and organizational skills.
