Senior Data Product Owner (Wealth Management)

Location: Hartford, CT, United States; remote or hybrid work arrangement available under Voya's flexible workplace guidelines.

Annual base salary: $100,070–$157,470 USD, with additional incentive opportunities.

What you will do

• Drive discovery, product strategy, and delivery for data products supporting Retail Wealth Management.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements, user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, and product documentation.
• Define, prioritize, and execute product roadmaps and manage the product backlog for sprint and program increment planning.
• Partner with business stakeholders, architects, engineers, and data professionals to design and deliver data solutions.
• Measure product performance, adoption, and business value through analytics and performance insights.
• Mentor junior product owners and build stakeholder support through clear business narratives and presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 10+ years of experience in technology, business analysis, or a related field, including 5+ years in product ownership, product management, or data products.
• Experience as a Product Owner in an Agile/Scrum software development environment.
• Hands-on experience with Azure, Databricks, and Snowflake, plus strong SQL and data querying skills.
• Understanding of data management, data modeling, product strategy, roadmaps, OKRs, and requirements prioritization.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders without direct authority, and communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.

• Experience supporting Retail Wealth Management organizations and advisor-facing technology platforms.
• Experience with wealth management data, analytics, reporting, and enterprise data products.
• Financial services experience, particularly in wealth management or investment services.
• Experience coaching junior product professionals and influencing senior leadership decisions.
