Chief Product Owner, Global Operations (AI)

Location: Boston, MA, United States; employees work from the office 4 days a week with flexibility to work remotely 1 day a week.

Base salary: USD 120,000–225,000 per year, plus possible variable compensation and benefits.

What you will do

• Shape the Global Operations product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap across Investment Operations, Client Operations, Fund Services, and Private Operations.
• Define measurable business outcomes and own technology investment cases, prioritization, sequencing, and capacity allocation across Operations products.
• Lead the AI-native redesign of high-volume, error-prone workflows such as reconciliation, exception resolution, corporate actions, and guideline monitoring.
• Manage, coach, and develop Operations Product Owners while establishing shared standards for backlogs, prioritization, and outcome definition.
• Represent Operations in cross-platform governance, resolve dependencies and priority conflicts, and align capabilities with business stakeholders and the Platform CIO.
• Steward product management and agile operating practices, including PI planning, capability contracts, run-the-business capacity, and escalation paths.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in product management or product ownership, including experience managing Product Owners or product leaders.
• Demonstrated experience using AI to redesign an operations, servicing, or middle/back-office function and measurably improve business outcomes.
• Deep experience with agile and scaled-agile ways of working, including SAFe or an equivalent approach, and the ability to coach and correct Product Owners.
• Experience translating firm strategy and target operating model priorities into a multi-year roadmap spanning multiple operational domains, while balancing measurable change outcomes, SLA-driven services, and competing capacity demands.
• Ability to contribute to a senior business leadership team, partner with Investment and Client Platform leaders, and align business priorities with a Platform CIO’s technical vision without formal authority over those organizations.
• Ability to articulate investment cases in terms of additive versus run-the-business budget impact and explain prioritization decisions to leadership and governance audiences.

Nice to have

• Financial services or asset management operations experience.
• Familiarity with derivatives, fund administration, guideline compliance, investment accounting, performance and attribution, or trade settlement.
